- Look. There's Saturn. Saturn is the sixth planet from the sun...How many of the satellites of Saturn can you name? There's Mimas, Titan, Dione, Hyperion of course...
- I can't name any of them and fortunately they never come up in conversation.
- Sigh... Facts. I got a million facts at my fingertips.
- That's right. And they don't meant a thing, Because nothing worth knowing can be understood with the mind. Everything really valuable has to enter through a different opening... forgive the disgusting imagery. The brain is overrated.

the final and greatest adventure
Two years he walks the earth. No phone, no pool, no pets, no cigarettes. Ultimate freedom. An extremist. An aesthetic voyager whose home is the road. Escaped. Thou shalt not return. And now after two rambling years comes the final and greatest adventure. The climactic battle to kill the false being within and victoriously conclude the spiritual pilgrimage. Ten days and nights of freight trains and hitchhiking bring him to the Great White North. No longer to be poisoned by civilization he flees, and walks alone upon the land to become lost in the wild. — Alexander Supertramp

Into the Wild, Sean Penn, tells the story of a young man fleeing civilization, repudiating society and escaping past, in pursue of the ultimate and purest truth, NATURE. However he neglects one fact... nature created man, and thus man IS nature. Bitter-sweet ending shines a light upon us, he will ultimately discover that happiness is only real when shared.
Fantastic ode to a brave adventurer, and most importantly, a truth seeker.

on fascination
just another thought following the perfect spaghetti sauce quest idea... a different orchid for a different bug.

The point is ... that every one of these flowers has a specific relationship with the insect that pollinates it. There’s a certain orchid [that] looks exactly like a certain insect. The insect is drawn to this flower, its double, its soul mate, and wants nothing more than to make love to it. After the insect flies off, it spots another soul mate flower and makes love to it, thus pollinating it. And neither the flower nor the insect will ever understand the significance of their lovemaking.
How could they know that because of their little dance, the world lives? But it does. By simply doing what they are designed to do, something large and magnificent happens. In this sense, they show us how to live. How the only barometer you have is your heart. How when you spot your flower you can’t let anything get in your way.
